We build these lamps around short-wave infrared quartz emitters, tuned to the PET absorption band so the heat gets in fast and deep. The practical details
Installation is straightforward, but treat the lamp with respect. Never touch the quartz tube—skin oils create hot spots and shorten life. Double-check voltage and connector type before you swap. Keep the reflector clean and aligned; even a small offset throws the heating profile off. If you’re running high-barrier or colored preforms, we can tweak the spectral output to keep the heat even.
